Option 2: medical-only states
About 39 states run a medical program. You need a qualifying condition, a doctor's certification, and a state card. Pennsylvania lists 23 qualifying conditions. Florida lists cancer, epilepsy, and PTSD. Approval times run from same day to 30 days.
Access is narrow in some states. Louisiana could not sell flower until 2022. Other states allow only tincture, capsules, or oil.
